Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra : Tripura CM vows for inclusive Governance

Chief Minister of Tripura Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Thursday said that the state government is earnestly working with the goal of delivering the benefits of various schemes to the last man of society, aligning with the direction set by the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
 
"Whether it's Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, or Kisan Samman Nidhi, the Modi Ji-led Government has been diligently working to extend the benefits of various schemes to every individual in society. We have also been working in the same direction," said Dr. Saha.
 
On the completion of 15 days of Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted directly with Sankalp Yatra beneficiaries from different parts of the country through video conferencing from New Delhi.
 
The event was also telecast live via video conferencing at Lakshmipur village in Mandwi block of the state.
 
Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha was present as a guest in the program at Lakshmipur Village.
 
On the completion of 15 days of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated an increasing number of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana kendra from 10,000 to 25,000 nationwide. He also launched the 10,000th Janaushadhi Kendra at AIIMS Deoghar and the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone nationwide to assist women and self-help groups.
 
On the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized that the development of the last person in society is the government's top priority.
 
"People from all walks of life should come forward shoulder to shoulder in this work. Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been developed to identify and provide benefits to those in marginalized towns who are yet to be reached by government schemes and services. The Good Governance 2.0 campaign has been initiated since last November 15 to facilitate various schemes of the state government along with this program. With the aim of 100 percent success in these two programs, the responsibility of eight districts of the state has been assigned to the cabinet members," he said.
 
Later, Dr. Saha also flagged off the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra van at MBB Chaumuhani area in Agartala.
 
On the occasion, the Chief Minister, along with other guests, handed over loans to Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission members of three self-help groups, nutrition kits to pregnant women, free gas connections to Ujjwala Yojana, and motorcycles with ice boxes from the Fisheries Department to the beneficiaries.
 
Besides, various fruit and cash crop seedlings were distributed among the beneficiaries from the forest department in the camp. It should be noted that a total of 12 exhibition stalls were opened by various departments on the occasion of today's event.
 
During the program, MLA Ratan Chakraborty, Chairman of Old Agartala Panchayat Samiti Biswajit Shil, Chairman of Mandwi Dhirendra Debbarma, Secretary Dr. PK Chakraborty, Additional District Magistrate of West Tripura District Subhash Chandra Saha, and District Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar were present.
